Makeup Review on the Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Eye shadow Primer

I like the packaging since it's in a squeeze tube. It is more sanitary than doe foot applicators. Since I found this was the best performing eye shadow primer I wanted to be able to use them on clients, especially brides. I liked using this on clients since the sanitary packaging is a must!

The Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Eye shadow Primer blends completely into the skin. I like this as I wear light coverage foundations that often wouldn't cover "seams" of colored primers. It also made it good fit for my kit as it matched everyone.

I find the Photo Finish 24-Hour Shadow Primer does the best job in keeping my eyes shadow in place compared to other primers I’ve tried. I have hooded eyes and shadows crease easily. This is a primer that keeps shadows where I put them. I also find it works great with very colorful shadows which I love to use, keeping them vibrant, yet bendable.

The eye primer retails for $21 for 11 g which is a pretty typical price point. I am on my fourth or fifth tube now so I’ll repurchased (and I have received it in PR before as well). One tube lasts about a year for me.

For application, I apply a lentil sized amount to my eyes with my ring finger and smooth out. For easier blending, apply a base shadow otherwise just go in with a light hand with dark shadows as the primer does grab the pigment.

I hope you found this review helpful and you’ll try this primer out. Comment below what eye primer you’re using and if you enjoy it!
