Porcelain Doll Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! Today I have another Halloween tutorial. This time its going to be porcelain doll inspired. This is a fun, wide eyed and flawless skin look that's perfect if you're wanting a doll-esque look for Halloween. Also please follow me on bloglovin

Start out with a clean base. I used one shade lighter than my skin and a full coverage to give a porcelain look. I used Illamasqua Liquid Rich foundation mixed with Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + in 20. If you are wearing this out and you choose something lighter than your skin tone, be sure to blend it all the way out to where your costume will cover.

I used Anastasia Dipbrow in Taupe and using the Anastasia #12 brush made "brush strokes" for brows. I wanted it to look more painted, then just a filled in the brow.

If you want contour to create a heart shaped face (for me I contoured my jaw, chin and nose), this will depend on your face shape. Then powder your face. I used the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal.

Now, we're starting on the eyes. Start with a base shadow. I am using Mac Gesso (matte, white) on a Sigma E60.

Now add some cream white under your eyes to make them look even bigger. I am using OCC Cream Color Concentrate in Vice. You can use a white eyeliner or NYX Milk or really anything like that. I use a Sigma E 65 Small Angle to apply.

For blending purposes, we'll be adding a transition color. I am using Mac Wedge (matte, neutral brown) with a Sigma E40 and I applied it from the crease and blending towards the brow.

Apply a bit of Ben Nye Brownberry (matte, muted taupey-maroon) with a pencil brush just above the crease. I am using a Sigma E30 Pencil brush.

Take a bit more Brownberry on a Sigma E45 Small Tapered Blend to blend the color out.

Add some liner and wing it out. I am using the Kat Von D Trooper liner. Make the line the thickest at the top to make the eye apear large and round. As you can see, my eye lid hoods over so I can't make the line real thick, but if you have more lid space feel free to thicken the line a lot more.

Use a white eyeshadow to set the white under your eye. I used a Mac 242 and Mac Gesso (matte white) for this step. You also want to line your water line with a white eyeliner. I am using  the Sigma Inner Rim Brightener in Unclouded.

Now we'll be drawing our "new" lower lash line. I am using Mac Chromaline in Black Black and a Hakuhodo Pro 3/0 brush, but any fine liner brush will do. Your line will basically follow your lash line, but won't connect to it.

Take more  Mac Wedge on a Sigma E45 Small Tapered Blending an blend it out under the black line. We want to really open up the eye and add more depth to this fake lash line.

Now we're taking more of Ben Nye Brown Berry and repeating the previous step.

Add a bit of black eye shadow to the line to smooth it out. I am using a Sigma E30 Pencil Brush for this step.

For blush, I am first using Mac Dessert Rose (matte, dusty cool pink) applied to the apples of the cheeks. I am using a Makeup And Hair Addiction The Blusher for this step.

Here I've added The Balm Cindy Lou Manizer (shimmer, rose gold) over the blush with the same brush.

Now I am using a Hakuhodo J5522 and Illamasqua Intrigue (matte, white) to highlight. I am applying in along the sides my nose to cheeks, on top the center of my nose and on the tip on my chin.

I then patted Makeup Forever 41 lipstick over my lips to make this pinky-peach color.

I cleaned up the edges here to give the mouth a cleaner and small look to it.

Lastly, add your lashes. I applied Elegant Lashes M093 Mystic lashes to the lash line. I then applied Elegant Lashes 033 along the black line/false lower lash line. This really helps to open the eye area and give an even more doll-like appearance.

Here's the finish look plus some optional steps. In this photo I have a sharp lip line (vs the soft shown in the tutorial) and I also added freckles using a few different shadows and dip brows.
